What are business rewards?

With business rewards, for every $200 spend, riders will receive 3% back in Lyft Cash to be used towards their next ride and one free Priority Pickup upgrade. 

What is a qualifying business ride? 

A qualifying business ride is any ride taken with a business profile account associated with a business organization. 

What is Lyft Cash?

Lyft Cash lets riders add money to their Lyft account to pay for rides. Using Lyft Cash as a payment method helps riders plan ahead and easily budget for Lyft rides. Lyft Cash rewards can be applied to both personal and business rides.

What are the terms?

There is no limit to the amount of Lyft Cash you can collect with the rewards program. However, you can only store a maximum of $300 in your Lyft Cash wallet. 


There is no time limit for making progress to earn these rewards.

How do riders start earn earning?

  • Riders can start earning by accepting the invitation to create a business profile from their organization, or using their existing linked account to take business rides. 
  • The rewards will automatically be added in the “Rewards” tab of their app.

How to check the rewards status

Riders can check the status of their rewards in the Lyft app: 

  1. Open the menu in the top-left corner of your screen.
  2. Tap ‘Rewards.’ 
  3. Scroll to the ‘Challenges’ section to see your progress.


Is there a limit to the number of times a rider can earn and receive a reward?

No, there is currently no limit. 


If the rider switches the ride from their personal profile to business profile after the ride has been processed, or vice versa, will the amount accrued to earn the reward be updated? 

Yes, the amount accrued to earn the reward will be updated for the rider on the rewards card in the app.


Is there a way to retroactively apply the reward?

No, once the ride is processed, we can’t add the Priority Pickup upgrade discount retroactively. And post-ride, the original payment method is already charged, so we can't modify the payment to apply Lyft Cash rewards. 


Is this the same at Lyft Pink?

No, this rewards program is not affiliated with Lyft Pink.


Is this program permanent?

Yes, but the rewards program is subject to modification, cancellation, or limitation at Lyft's discretion, with or without notice.


Is there a time period in which riders have to take X rides to get Y rewards?

No, there is no time frame in which your progress will expire.
