Concierge Scheduled Ride Bulk Upload

Learn more about how Concierge coordinators can schedule several rides at once by uploading a TSV or CSV file to the Lyft Business Portal. See your uploaded rides in the Lyft Business Portal and get an email reporting all the rides that were scheduled.

How to bulk upload scheduled rides 

  1. Log in to Lyft Concierge and select ‘Upload file’
  2. Select your TSV or CSV file saved to your computer or download a sample file to fill out as indicated. 
    1. You can click here to see how to fill out your sample file. Save the spreadsheet as a CSV and upload it under ‘Upload CSV.’



  1. Your rides will be uploaded and ready for your review. If the file validation contains any errors, download the file and check the last last column of the file to see why the ride is invalid. You can make those corrections directly in your TSV or CSV file and follow the same steps to reupload.
  2. For rides uploaded in the correct format, you can now submit the request for your rides to be scheduled! Please be sure to check your email for upload results within 30 minutes of submitting your ride request for confirmation on if all rides were created successfully."Example email of success, errors or both of rides uploaded:

How to fill out your TSV or CSV file for upload

If you haven’t bulk uploaded Concierge rides before, you can directly download a sample TSV or CSV file from Concierge. You will need to fill the spreadsheet out correctly to schedule your rides in bulk and avoid any errors. Each row represents an individual ride while each column represents the information required. See below a breakdown of how to fill out each column of the spreadsheet. 

  • Pickup lat.

    • The latitude of the pickup location of your ride. This field is optional and can be used along with the pickup address

  • Pickup long.

    • The longitude of the pickup location of your ride. This field is optional and can be used along with the pickup address

  • *Pickup address

    • The address you would like your rider to be picked up at

  • Drop off lat.

    • The latitude of the drop off location of your ride. This field is optional and can be used along with the drop off address

  • Drop off long.

    • The longitude of the drop off location of your ride. This field is optional and can be used along with the drop off address

  • *Drop off address

    • The address you would like your rider to be dropped off at

  • *Rider first name

  • *Rider last name

  • *Rider mobile number

    • Ensure you’ve added (+1) to the beginning of the phone number with no dashes. For example, 11234567890

  • Pickup datetime

    • The date and time you’d like to schedule the ride in your local timezone. For example, 'YYYY/MM/DD HH:mm:ss', 'YYYY/MM/DD HH:mm', 'DD/MM/YYYY HH:mm', or 'DD/MM/YYYY hh:mm a.' You must use this field or the ISO format below

  • Pickup time (ISO8601 format)

    • Represents date and time by starting with the year, followed by the month, the day, the hour, the minutes, seconds and milliseconds. For example, 2024-02-09T19:16:42.139Z. This field is a secondary option to ‘Pickup datetime’ field, but you can utilize this converter for additional help. Ensure that this is a time in the future

  • Internal note 

    • Driver will not see the internal note

  • Ride type 

    • Lyft, lyft_access, lyft_assisted, lyft_plus, lyft_premier, lyft_lux, lyft_luxsuv, etc. Ensure there are no spaces in your entry

  • Ride mode 

    • Scheduled or Flex. Will automatically default to Scheduled. Ensure there are no spaces in your entry

  • Driver message 

    • Here you can add additional pickup or drop off instructions for your driver with a 100 characters max

  • Language 

    • Default will be English. To change the language, input:

      • Spanish, 'es'

      • French, 'fr'
      • Portuguese, 'pf'

How do I cancel or edit a scheduled ride? 

Yes, all rides created by bulk upload can be canceled or edited in Concierge web

Do you need to enter a time zone to upload a flex ride? 

Yes, follow the same steps as above to schedule a flex ride. The ‘Pickup datetime’ requested is when the flex ride window will start, and the ride will expire 24 hours following
